Social Media Coordinator Internship Description and Benefits

TERM

6-month internship with WeUp, working on events and social media related to the #WEUP App Tour (December 2018 – May 2019)

BENEFITS

ROLE

The role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following deliverables and schedule 10 hours per week:

I. Draft monthly social media editorial calendars, content and post to various social mediums. Some content might require light graphic designs

II. Curate and create social media strategies that include at least three (3) weekly scheduled posts for events, on-site postings at events, as well as live streaming events if and when feasible and appropriate, and post event recaps for all social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

III. Prepare monthly summary reports with analytics

IV. Draft and send monthly e-newsletters highlighting events and sponsors a

V. Update database and web site(s) as needed

VI.    Assist with all event coordination, including set-up and tear down, registration, vendor and guests relations

VII.   Take event photos
